About Boldcall

Everyone in the group chat swears they saw it coming. Boldcall keeps the receipts.

The idea

Someone makes a call with a date on it. Everyone in the group picks For sure or Nope, in secret. Nobody sees anyone's side, not even whoever made the call, until reveal day. Then it all comes out at once: who backed you, who said nope, and who was right.

The call is out in the open from the start. What's secret is everyone's pick. You commit with no idea what your friends think, and then you live with it. The lonely pick pays best. Right when almost nobody agreed? Up to 100 points. Right with everyone? 10.

Make calls about seven things: friends and life, the NFL, the NBA, college hoops, the 2026 election, reality TV and awards season.

Why "Boldcall"

A bold call is the one you'd be embarrassed to get wrong. The underdog. The upset. The friend who finally shows up on time. Boldcall makes that call worth making, and makes sure everyone remembers who made it.

What we won't build

NeverWhy
Real money, prizes or oddsMoney turns "who called it" into "what are the odds". More.
Fake activity or made-up rankingsIf it's quiet, it looks quiet.
An anonymous modeYour pick is already secret when it counts.
AI that predicts, writes calls or decides resultsArguing is the fun part. More.
A swear filterWe filter for harm, not words. More.

Who makes it

Boldcall is made by Agori Labs Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina. Seth Ahmed started it. Agori Labs also makes Beacon, which helps online brands get found by AI shopping assistants. Boldcall is our consumer app. Say hi at agorilabs.com.

Boldcall is free. If it ever makes money, it'll most likely be from teams, broadcasters and workplaces that want their own version. Never by charging for points.
