US state privacy notice
Extra details for people in states with their own privacy laws, like California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas. Read it along with the privacy policy.

Who this is for
A bunch of states give people specific privacy rights. Some of those laws only kick in for bigger companies, and we might be too small for them right now. We give everyone in the US these rights anyway, so you don't have to figure out which law covers you.
What we collect, in legal terms

It comes from you, your device, your sign-in provider and the app stores. Why we use it and how long we keep it are in the privacy policy.
Your rights
- See it: find out what we have and get a copy.
- Fix it: correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete it: have us erase it (your picks stay as "a former member", as the privacy policy explains).
- Opt out of sale, targeted ads, and profiling with serious effects. We treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out.
- Limit sensitive info: we only use it to run the game you picked, and we'll ask first where a state requires it.
- No penalty: using your rights never changes how Boldcall works for you.
- Appeal our answer.
How to ask
- Email privacy@boldcallapp.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you want.
- We'll confirm we got it within 10 business days.
- We'll check it's really you, usually with a code sent to your sign-in. We only ask for what we need.
- We'll answer within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 45 more days where the law allows), we'll tell you why.
Someone can ask for you if you give them signed permission. We might still check with you directly.
Appeals
If we say no to any part of your request, reply with the subject "Appeal". Someone who didn't make the first call will review it and get back to you within 60 days with the reason. Still not happy? You can contact your state attorney general.
California
We haven't sold or shared personal info in the past 12 months. If that changes, we'll update this notice first and add a "Do Not Sell or Share" link. We don't use sensitive info to guess things about you. We don't run any financial incentive programs. We won't sell or share info from anyone we know is under 16 without the consent the law requires.

Once Boldcall launches, we'll post how many requests we got each year and what we did with them.
