Copyright and DMCA
Boldcall is mostly short posts between friends, so copyright issues should be rare. If one comes up, here's how it works.

Reporting infringement
If you think something on Boldcall infringes your copyright, send our copyright agent a notice with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you say was infringed;
- what on Boldcall you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it (a group invite link, the call text or a screenshot);
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed by the owner, their agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or allowed to act for them.

Counter-notices
If we took down your post and you think it was a mistake, send a counter-notice with: your signature; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the federal court in your district (or, outside the US, any district where we can be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may put the post back in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they've filed a lawsuit.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of people who keep infringing, when it makes sense to. Sending a knowingly false notice or counter-notice can get you in legal trouble, so be sure first.
