Why
Put money on it and the question changes from "who called it?" to "what are the odds?" Everyone plays it safe, and playing it safe is exactly what our scoring punishes. Plus, betting needs everyone's picks out in the open to set the odds. Boldcall keeps picks secret till reveal day. It couldn't be betting if it tried.
What we won't add
- Odds, prices or payouts.
- Entry fees, prize pools, sweepstakes or giveaways tied to picks.
- Any way to buy, sell, trade or cash out points.
- Links, ads or referrals to sportsbooks, prediction markets or casinos.
- Any payment code in the app.
What a dare looks like
"Loser wears the rival jersey to brunch." "Loser makes coffee all week." Dares are things you do. Type a dollar sign, a currency word or a payment app name and Boldcall strips it out before it posts, on our server, not just your phone. We never hold, check or enforce a dare.
